My summer vacation

Today is rainy day,here has heavy rain outside.
I just can stay at home but I wanna go out with friends.

I'm on summer vacation now.
Everyday I do common matters like cooking dinner for my grandfather,doing housework,babysitting my little cousin,listening to music,chatting with foreigners online and replying letters to my pen pals.

I went to Taichung in the middle of Taiwan,seeing a teacher with my best friend,Jill. We went to the university where the teacher works.We also had a meal together,we chatted a lot and shared some our feelings each other. I had a happy time with them.

I went to my high school with my good friend,Little.We both thought our school changed a lot,(everywhere changed so much). Some buildings disappeared,there were a lot of our memories when we were high school students.
I felt so sad but happy too.Our school will have a new look after the reconstruction.I hope I can see the beautiful school again when I visit there (again).

I also had a meal with my high school roommates and friends.We have been not see everyone for a long time after graduating from high school. We miss everybody so much. We chatted a lot and shared ourselves college life with each other.I found everyone changed a lot,they looked have more confidence,happiness and courage.They also became so pretty.I was so happy for it. I wish they could have a wonderful life in the university.

I wrote seven letters to my pen pals,I thought I was crazy.Seven letters were written in English was not an easy matter for me. I needed to have enough time to write them,it's so hard for me,but I enjoyed it. I like hearing that my pen pals are so happy receiving and reading letters (sent by me).It's a happy matter,isn't it?

My speaking in English ability is so poor,I wanna improve it in summer time,so I need to find some foreigners to help me. I think it is not an easy matter.Hope I can overcome my shy and afraid when I chat with them.

This winter vacation, what did I do ?

I thought I was so crazy to do something. I sent a lot of New Year cards and letters to my good friends and pen pals.
I didn't know how much did I cost in sending letters and cards. I just knew how much it cost in sending a package for my Russia pen pal.

I didn’t care about the cost in sending letters or postcards and gifts. I just care about the feelings of pen pals and friends whom receive letters from me.

I hope receiving the letters makes them as happy as I am to receive theirs.I like making pen pals, but I’m not a collector. I like sharing my life, our cultures, languages, food and so forth with them.

I also like making new friends, I don't care where they come from, I just care whether they'll be my friends, and honest with me.My friends and I went to visit Jimmy’s art exhibition in Taipei . I like Jimmy’s works, although his work looks sad and lonely.
I was so happy I could visit an art exhibition with my friends.

What matters did I do in the Lunar New Year?

My younger sister, brother, mom, grandfather and I cleaned around our house before the upcoming Lunar New Year.

I celebrated Chinese New Year on interpals. It was a special experience for me. That day, I chatted with some people there, also met some new friends. I like chatting with people from all over the world, I can know more about different cultures, languages and life from them. We said “Happy Chinese New Year “to each other, we were all happy to welcome the Lunar New Year.

I went to my grandparents’ home, receiving some red envelopes from my grandparents, uncles and my younger brother.

I was so surprised my younger brother gave me a red envelope, it was so funny.

This was the first time; he gave red envelopes to my younger sister and me.

We saw the fireworks in the sky, also set off firecrackers, and visited night market, played Chinese chess with my grandparents.

My parents, my siblings and I also visited field of flowers in Tongsiao Miaoli.

Although the sea flowers are not better than Flora Expo, I think the sea flowers look so pretty. We had a lot of fun there, and also took some pictures.
